Red, inflamed, bleeding gums are rarely just a gum problem. Inflammation in the mouth may be connected to inflammation elsewhere, and it can show up in your bloodwork before anyone looks at your teeth.
Gums are only one clue. Worn or cracked teeth, grinding, a narrow airway, old metal fillings and hidden infection each tell part of the story. I look at the whole mouth as an ecosystem, and when I see signs of something bigger, I help you find a resolution. Sometimes that means dentistry, sometimes it means connecting you with the right colleague, and often it’s both, because lasting answers usually come from a multidisciplinary team. The goal is to address the root cause, so your mouth supports your health from the inside out.

I’m Dr. Teplitsky, Dr. T for short. I connect the dots between your oral health and the vitality of your whole body.
My training spans comprehensive general dentistry, including biological and biomimetic dentistry, safe mercury amalgam removal, airway and sleep dentistry, and everything in between. It all comes back to one question: what does this mouth need so the whole person can reach optimal health?
I’ve spent over two decades in dentistry. For twelve years I owned and led Wrigleyville Dental, where I built a comprehensive biological dental practice. Today I continue to care for patients there, and I teach dentists and their teams through Whole Health Dental Academy.
